Some waters run deeper than they appear. When Jules Everton returns to her summer haven of Bracken Ridge after a decade away, she's simply seeking reconnection with her aunt and a break from her unfulfilling life. But Fortune Lake has other plans. During the annual Fortune Festival, Jules witnesses an inexplicable display of lights dancing across the water's surface, stirring half-forgotten childhood memories. When she locks eyes with Danny Pencroft, Jules realizes she's not the only one who senses something stirring beneath the lake's serene surface.
